Investigating Horse Owner Perceptions About Biosecurity

OVC researchers are looking to interview horse owners or frequent horse riders to discuss their opinions about contagious diseases in the horse industry. This research will be used to improve disease preventions at Ontario horse facilities. Horse owners, horse riders, part boarders and barn managers/owners are eligible to participate.
Interviews will take place from May to August 2022 over Zoom.

Exploring how the diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) in a cat impacts their owner:

An OVC study is investigating the effect that the diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) in a cat has on their owner. This research will raise awareness of the importance of reliably diagnosing cardiac disease in a cat and improve the support offered to owners. This survey is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and have a cat with HCM.
